oversaw the development of alumni advisory boards for every PIKE chapter across North America. Ben was the primary contact for alumni associations and supported local chapters as they executed their own alumni relations programs.

Ben ultimately served as Chief Operating Officer of the Pi Kappa Alpha Foundation until 2020. He was in charge of the major gift programs and fundraising staff while overseeing the day-to-day operations.

Ben: “I’ve spent over a decade traveling the country, listening to alumni tell me how important Pi Kappa Alpha was in shaping the man that they’ve become. There are three themes that I’ve carried with me from all of these conversations. The first is that the fraternity experience is a local experience. The second: alumni want to receive meaningful communication. The third: alumni want to interact with their fraternity and their brothers.”

About stepping in as president of the alumni association, “I lived at 2112 Lincoln Way for four years and that experience shaped the man I am today. The alumni association’s board is extremely healthy and I’m honored to help lead communication and engagement efforts while we redevelop AlphaPhi and 2112 Lincoln Way. There are a lot of alumni lending their talents and professional expertise to lead efforts with the chapter, house corporation and alumni association. I’m excited to work with all of them to support the chapter and house that built us.”

Ben is currently a VP and Relationship Manager withFirst Horizon Bank in Memphis. He and his wife Page live in Germantown, TN with their two young children, Davis and Catherine. He can be reached atbdboden@gmail.com
